Shipping & Delivery
UK orders typically arrive within 1–2 working days. If an item is shipped from an external warehouse, delivery may take 3–5 working days. If your order is time‑sensitive, please contact us for an ETA.
For EU customers, delivery times are usually 3–5 working days. For urgent orders or specific delivery instructions, contact us.
Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on basket contents and destination.
Returns & Replacements
If something isn’t right, you can return unused and unopened items within 30 days of purchase. Items must arrive in their original packaging and condition.

- Gift cards
- Downloadable or activated software / extended warranties
- Opened software, CDs, DVDs, Blu‑ray discs, and video games
How to Start a Return
Email info@tinkerer.co.uk with your Order Number and the Serial Number of the item. Please don’t send products directly to the manufacturer.
Partial Refunds
Partial refunds may apply for opened/used items still in resaleable condition, or items missing parts / damaged not due to our error.
Right to Cancel
You may cancel your order up to 14 days after delivery (consumer orders only; excludes B2B).
Business Customers (B2B) Refunds
Business returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee (not applied to damaged/defective items). Used or non‑original‑condition items may receive 20%–70% of the item price.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll confirm approval or rejection. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 7 days.
Late or Missing Refunds
First check with your bank/issuer—posting times can vary. If you still haven’t received your refund, contact us at info@tinkerer.co.uk.
Sale Items & Warehouse Deals
Sale and warehouse‑deal items can be returned within 14 days of purchase; standard refund rules apply.
Exchanges
We can exchange defective or damaged items if stock is available. Email info@tinkerer.co.uk.
Refused Deliveries / In‑Transit Cancellations
Orders refused on delivery or cancelled while in transit incur a 3.5% restocking fee. Original shipping costs are non‑refundable.
Return Shipping
Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility unless an item is faulty or damaged. If a refund is issued, return postage may be deducted. For items over £50, use a tracked service and consider insurance. Returns remain your responsibility until they reach our warehouse.
