Shipping and Delivery

We aim to provide fast and reliable shipping for all our customers. UK orders will typically be delivered within 1-2 business days. However, if the item needs to come from an external warehouse, it may take 3-5 business days. If your order is urgent, please contact us for an estimated time of arrival.

For EU customers, delivery times vary from 3-5 business days. If your order is urgent or you have specific delivery requirements, please contact us.

Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on your order and location.

Returns and Replacements

We want you to be completely satisfied with your Tinkerer order. If for any reason you are not satisfied, we will gladly accept returns of unused and unopened items within 30 days of your purchase date. Returned items must be in their original packaging and condition.

Please note that certain items are exempt from being returned, including gift cards, downloadable software products, extended warranty services, software, CDs, DVDs, Blu-Ray discs, and video games.

Return Procedure

To initiate a return, please contact Tinkerer customer support at info@tinkerer.co.uk and include your Order Number and the Serial Number of the item you wish to return or exchange. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Partial Refunds

In certain situations, only partial refunds are granted. This may apply to items that have been opened or used but are still in new or resalable condition, or items not in their original condition, damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

Right to Cancel

You may cancel your order up to 14 days after it was delivered. Please note, this does not apply to B2B orders or business customers.

Business Customers (B2B) Refunds

All B2B refunds are subject to a 15% restocking fee. This fee is not applicable to damaged or defective items. Used items or items not in their original condition may receive a partial refund of 20% to 70% of the original price.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Approved refunds will be processed and a credit will be applied to your original method of payment within 7 days.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven't received a refund yet, please first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you've done all of this and still have not received your refund, please contact us at info@tinkerer.co.uk.

Sale Items and Warehouse Deals

Sale items or warehouse deals can be returned within 14 days of purchase. The same refund rules apply as with new items.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged, and if we have them in stock. If you need to exchange an item, please contact us at info@tinkerer.co.uk.

Refused Deliveries / In-Transit Cancellations

Orders that are refused at the time of delivery or cancelled while in transit will attract a 3.5% restocking fee. Shipping costs are non-refundable in such instances.

Return Shipping

You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item, unless the item is faulty or damaged. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

If you are shipping an item over £50, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item. The return is your responsibility until it reaches our warehouse.
