One device: many ways to communicate

This multi-purpose audio-visual signaling device enables live and prerecorded audio and alarm sounds. It supports AXIS Audio Manager enabling zone management, and the possibility to schedule content and provide it where needed. Built-in health monitoring lets you know your system is working as expected. In addition, the strobe light offers a choice of nine colors (red, green, blue, amber, pink, turquoise, purple, yellow, and white) and various light patterns, which can be combined to meet specific needs.

AXIS D4200-VE enables automatic responses with customized live and prerecorded audio, alarm sounds, strobe lights, or a combination of all of these. It can be triggered by other devices in your system such as cameras, radars, or 3rd party sensors, as well as video analytics. For instance, if a camera with analytics detects an intruder at your perimeter, you can make a prerecorded announcement and activate the strobe light to deter them. And AXIS Audio Analytics can trigger an alert whenever it detects sudden increases in sound levels. This multi-purpose device also helps improve operational efficiency, allowing you to manage the flow of people and vehicles on your premises.

Supporting a wide temperature range, this robust, IP66-, NEMA-4X- and IK09-rated device is ideal both indoors and outdoors. And an optional sunshield is available for outdoor use. Through VAPIX, SIP, MQTT, or I/Os, there’s numerous integration possibilities.
